Step-by-step explanation of everything included in our Complete Detail

The Complete Detail begins with removing all of the mats, shampooing and removing all stains from them, including salt stains, the shampooed mats are dried while the car is detailed. Loose items are placed aside from the vehicle in a clear plastic bag. Child Seats are removed. Also, Kick-pads and under child seat protectors will be removed.

Then we wash the vehicle using lamb's wool wash mitts, a paint safe car wash soap and a multi bucket method to ensure that the paint is safely hand washed to remove dirt and grime from the finish, while still wet we apply a paint safe iron remover to chemically remove small rust spots caused by brake-dust on the finish of the car. We also gently remove bugs from the front of the vehicle using a paint safe bug remover chemical with no scouring or rubbing. We apply an alloy rim cleaning solution and use a special brush to detail clean the rims. White walls, white lettering and black of tires are scrubbed. A tar and sap remover are applied to small road tar spots that form behind the wheel wells and on sap droppings on the paint. Although some small amounts of Tar and Sap can be removed excessive amounts cannot be addressed by this package. Then, the car is rinsed-off with high pressure water including inside the vehicle’s wheel wells. We don’t do an undercarriage wash. The only part of the undercarriage we pressure wash is the visible portion in the vehicle’s wheel wells.

Then the Headlights are polished if needed, to remove haze and cloudiness. We then apply a light ceramic coating to the headlights to protect the polished surface from oxidization.

The Complete Detail does not include any paint work. You can however add for $49.95 a clay-bar treatment and 1 stage finish polish. A clay bar treatment removes paint contaminants and leaves the surface extremely smooth, a one stage finish will greatly enhance the shine and appearance of the finish, but is not a complete paint correction it cannot address scratches or oxidization.

Then we apply a Ceramic Spray Wax. A ceramic spray wax is a concentration of SiO2 (silica) nano particles in solution exactly the same ingredient as a Ceramic Coating but in a distilled water solution not a resin like Ceramic Coating. The SiO2 Nano Ceramic particles bond to the paint and create a super hydrophobic layer on top of the finish. The paint protection is superior to any type of wax and lasts from 3 to 6 months. Our Ceramic spray wax is safe to apply on top of any protection package or ceramic coating.

All interior and exterior glass is cleaned. Exterior trim is dressed with an oil-based dressing and detailed. Tires are dressed.

Then we begin on the inside of the vehicle by performing a thorough vacuuming of the floors, seats, trunk and or rear cargo areas of SUVs using our powerful drum vacuum, that has incredible lifting power. All pet hair is removed including under seats or stow areas in minivans. Once the floors have been vacuumed, we spray them with a powerful stain remover, that helps to lift stains and dissolve salt. Then we shampoo all the floors and rear cargo areas using our cyclo shampoo process.

Our unique cyclo shampoo machine in conjunction with our powerful drum vacuum is ideally suited to effectively remove ground in dirt and soil, stains and salt. If there is gum or other hard substances stuck to the floors we break them down before the shampoo process with a powerful petroleum based gel stain remover or remove them using a high pressure steam.

Cloth seats are pre-sprayed with a powerful stain remover then they are completely shampooed using our cyclo shampoo machine, this process is extremely successful at removing cloth seat stains. Once the seats have been shampooed they are dried with forced dry air to ensure the seats are completely dry and can be sat on after 3 hours.

Previously, cloth seat shampoo, cloth seat stain removal and cloth seat drying was not included in the Complete Detail but rather an Interior Extra package which had to be added was offered for an additional 95$. We have eliminated the Interior Extra package and we now include cloth seat cleaning, shampooing, stain removal and drying in the Complete Detail.

The complete detail does not include the cleaning of headliners (the material on the inside of the roof, above your head), sun-visors or seat-belts. The Headliner, Sun-visor and Seat-belts can be cleaned for an additional $29.95. The headliner material is very delicate and requires a special process to clean, the entire headliner needs to be cleaned at the same time to avoid water spotting. This includes the material on sun-visors. Seat-belts too are extremely difficult to clean due to their nylon webbing material, each belt must be cyclo brushed to clean.

For leather seats we perform a deep cleaning that is safe for urethane coated leathers and vinyl seats as well as other types of untreated or treated leather seats. Our deep cleaning removes oils, dirt and grime from leather seats. It also, removes ink such as from writing pens and dyes transferred from clothing. However, with all leather cleaning, we are limited to a point no further than where we may begin to remove the actual dye of the leather. If our deep cleaning process can’t remove the stain from your leather, it can’t be removed without damaging the leather.

Once the leather is deep cleaned it is dressed with a non-silicone, oil-based dressing to restore the finish of the leather. This is a necessary step due to the deep cleaning process that removes needed oils from the leather surface. Our post cleaning dressing will slightly increase the shine of the leather, we don’t offer a matte finish or no-gloss dressing option.

If you would like a Leather Conditioning lotion applied to your leather seats instead of just a non-silicone oil-based dressing, we offer a leather Conditioning treatment for an additional $19.95 this a great way to restore and improve the leather and better protect it.

All interior hard surfaces are then cleaned. Inside the door jambs are cleaned including the trunk door jambs and rear hatch jambs, the doors and all the arm rests and pockets are cleaned, even the speaker covers. The dash, vents, display, dials, steering-wheel, stereo, pillars, console, cup-holders and the plastics and metals that attach to the seats. We do not clean inside glove-boxes and arm rest compartments unless the customer removes their contents and leaves them open indicating they want them cleaned.

Then we dress and detail all interior hard surfaces with a non-silicone, oil-based dressing. We use a variety of tools including Q-tips and microfibre cloths to ensure a clean finish on these surfaces. Importantly, we take great steps to ensure that we leave all hard surfaces clean and crisp looking, not greasy or overly shiny. However, the application of a non-silicone, oil-based dressing is absolutely necessary due to our cleaning process, customers must expect an increased shine to these surfaces. We do not offer a no-gloss or matte finish dressing option.

We don’t clean truck beds or spare tire wells.

Then, the clear bag containing loose items is put in the trunk or rear cargo area of SUVs. Sometimes, items such as transponders, garage door openers and charging cables are placed in glove-box or arm-rest.

Child Seats along with kick pads, head-rest mirrors and under child seat covers will be placed uncleaned in the trunk or rear of the vehicle. Previously, the Complete Detail included cleaning and installing child seats. Now, If you have Child seats or booster seats you may have them cleaned along with their kick pads and seat covers for an additional $29.95 it doesn’t matter if the vehicle has multiple child seats the cost is only $29.95. With this all booster and child seats along with their harness belts will be shampooed, stain removed and completely dried, then all pads and protectors along with the child seats will be properly re-installed.

Mats are returned to the vehicle and/or switched as per the customers direction.

We place an air freshener in every vehicle when it is done. Which, you may remove if you are sensitive to car fresheners or perfumes. We do not offer odour removal services.

The car is then parked and is ready for pick-up with the direction that customers leave the windows open a small crack weather pending over the next week to ensure that the floors properly dry.

We’re worth the drive to Milton, Ontario. Although we do not offer mobile auto detailing, we have customers from all over the GTA. We have many clients from Toronto, Mississauga, Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, Brampton, Cambridge and Guelph who drive to Milton for our unique service. Customer’s do not have to leave their vehicles with us for the day, it takes exactly 3 hours for our Complete Detail no matter how dirty your vehicle is. Moreover, we completely dry shampooed cloth seats, you can sit on them and drive home, after exactly 3 hours. Importantly, customers come to us from all over the GTA because we specialize in upholstery cleaning and pet hair removal.
