/The Complete Detail for $225 includes a thorough Leather Deep Cleaning.
For over 30 years we have been deep cleaning automobile leather seats, we use a very effective leather cleaning product that is safe for urethane coated leather or vinyl seats, as well other types of untreated or treated leather.
Our leather deep cleaning process is ideal for removing oil, dirt and grime from leather seats. Also, our process is very effective at the removal of ink, such as from writing pens and dye transfers to leather seats from clothing.
After deep cleaning leather seats we apply a non-silicone, oil-based dressing to restore the finish of the leather and add a protective UV barrier. The cleaning process removes necessary oils from the leather and this dressing included in the Complete Detail is required to restore them. We take great care to buff-off excess dressing and leave the leather finish clean and crisp. This dressing will slightly increase the shine of the leather, we don’t offer a matte finish or a no-gloss option.
If you add Leather conditioning for an additional $19.95 instead of applying a dressing to the leather seats we apply a cream leather conditioner. This leather conditioner will help restore the leather and protect it for much longer than just the non-silicone, oil based dressing we apply with the Complete Detail for $225. This conditioner requires up to 24 hours to completely absorb into the leather, during that time the leather seats may appear glossy.
What to expect? How thorough is our deep cleaning of leather? Our cleaning will absolutely remove all oils, dirt, grime and debris from leather seats. Also, Ink from writing pens and dye transfers from clothing such as jeans or leather jackets can mostly be removed with some exceptions. Some permanent inks and dyes, and adhesives affect the leather coating in such a way that it is impossible to remove them without stripping the leather coating. We are very experienced at cleaning very dirty leather seats if after our leather deep cleaning there are still ink, dye or adhesive marks on the leather it is only because they cannot be removed without damaging the leather coating.
Our Complete Detail for $225 includes the removal of dirt from pipping and crevices of leather seats. It also includes the removal of dirt and debris stuck within the perforations of ventilated leather seats. Frequently, customers are looking for cleaning of leather seat perforations because these holes have become plugged with food spills or hand creams. The unclogging of these leather seat perforations will be completely addressed with the leather cleaning included in our Complete Detail, with the exception of perforations becoming clogged with industrial adhesives, inks or paint because these types of stains are virtually impossible to remove from delicate leather. Importantly, the sides of leather seat perforations are not dyed or treated like the leather surface, they are usually light coloured and are easily stained by spills and creams, even though we can fully address the removal of debris, food and creams stuck with-in the perforations there may still be an unavoidable discoloration of the sides of leather seat perforations.
In some cases, leather seats that appear to be dirty are actually just worn-out. Deep cleaning of older leather seats may improve the appearance, but worn, faded or even cracked sections of leather seats may become more apparent with cleaning. Customers looking to improve the appearance of older, faded or worn leather seats may be under-whelmed by the results of our deep leather cleaning.
Our cleaning of leather does not address spills that may have passed through the leather seat into the cushion beneath. You should not book the Complete Detail for the purpose of addressing a spill into the leather seat, that may or may not cause odour. Spills beyond the leather surface into the seat cushion require a special type of cleaning that flushes the cushion to remove the spill. We do not offer any sort of seat flushing service, you would have to book with another detail shop that does.
If you have leather and vinyl seats that have had cosmetic repairs, its best to show us where so that we can be extremely careful cleaning those spots as the dyes used for repairs are generally very delicate.
We’re worth the drive to Milton, Ontario. Although we do not offer mobile auto detailing, we have customers from all over the GTA. Customer’s do not have to leave their vehicles with us for the day, it takes exactly 2.5 hours for our Complete Detail no matter how dirty your vehicle is. Moreover, we completely dry shampooed cloth seats, you can sit on them and drive home, after exactly 3.5 hours when you book the Complete Detail with Interior Extra.
